Oh wow...

Only 4 months, but so much has happened! I am a doctor (yikes!); we have relocated to Florida (blah); I have started my first, albeit underpaid, job (yay!); I can see without glasses or contacts (whoop!); and I am preparing to run my first marathon (I must be nuts). 

Hmmm. Well, after talking to lots of people here in south Florida (did you know they are petitioning to become an official state? "South Florida"), my suspicions were confirmed this morning at church. The tricounty area (Palm, Broward, Miami-Dade) have the rudest drivers in the country. I believe it. Heaven forbid you actually stop at a red light before pulling out for the right turn! Mostly, I am protected in my little work environment. I am there 7:30am-7:00pm on a good day. For the most part everyone there is nice enough, and you learn who isn't and avoid them. I was called an embryo last week. It was great. 

Haven't been to the beach yet- I would hate to get sane in my new eye balls. Soon though. Well, I know it's short- especially for not having been around in a while, but gotta make dinner!
